St. Christopher’s Home needs support from corporates in all sectors in developing service and organizing different activities. We welcome various ways of cooperation. Here are some examples:

Organize fundraising event

Corporates can organize fundraising activity to encourage their staff, partners and customers to donate and support. For example:

• Daniel’s Group places donation boxes in their shops to encourage customers to donate;
• Shell promoted the Love Chocolate Charity Sale at all petrol stations and encouraged her customers to purchase the chocolate.

Assist in promotion

Corporates can assist in promoting the Home’s service by using the existing network and resources. For example:

• Attach the Home’s leaflet in newsletters, statements and bills to customers;
• Place the Home’s banner advertisements on company’s website;
• Insert hyperlink of the Home’s website in emails;
• Provide advertising channels;
• Help distribute leaflets and put up posters

Take Part in “Make the Dreams Come True” Campaign

How can a corporate participate in the scheme?
Encourage your employees to donate at least $80 per month or $960 a year, and the corporate donates the same amount. Corporate may acquire a certificate or trophy and may have the chance for “Caring Company” nomination.

Together with employees, a corporate can help local orphans and children from broken or low-income families to fulfill their dreams and to work up and develop their future through sponsorship.

Event Sponsorship

Corporates can sponsor service plan and activities of St. Christopher’s Home. For example:

• Konew Financial Express sponsored children with outstanding performance to attend overseas study trip;
• Chung Hwa Book Co., (H.K.) Ltd. and Computime Group Limited helped children to build up confidence and develop leadership skills through sponsoring a series of training courses.
• Karrie International Holdings Limited sponsored outreaching and adventure programs to cultivate the strong will and determination of participants.
• Hop Yuen (Holdings) Limited sponsored children to join eco-tour to broaden their horizons.
• Ma On Shan Plaza provided free venue for the Home’s events.

6. Volunteering

Corporates can assist St. Christopher’s Home and broaden children’s horizon with their professional knowledge and resources, for example:

• Illustrator Chocolate Rain, Hosannart and Jeanie provided illustration design for the Home’s activity;
• The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong offered internship opportunities to children;
• TOM Group Limited donated books and provided story-telling programs for our children.
• Colgate sends volunteer teams and dentists to help check children’s teeth, encouraging them to be aware of oral health and cleanliness.
