St. Christopher's Home which has always prioritized children's welfare, recently transformed the entire Lee Tung Street in Wan Chai into a children's game street to celebrate its 90th anniversary. The event featured meaningful game booths designed around the theme of children's developmental milestones, along with exciting programs and over 4,000 gifts, bringing joy and memorable experiences to all participants!
The opening ceremony was officiated by distinguished guests including The Rt Revd Matthias Der, Bishop of Hong Kong Island, Ms. Siu Kin Heung, District Social Welfare Officer (Eastern and Wan Chai Districts), Mr. Jason Chan, the Home's Love Ambassador and old boy, and special guest Ms. Kay Tse. They were joined by The Revd Canon Peter Douglas Koon, SBS, OStJ, JP, Chairman of the Home’s Council and Ms. Silvia Mak, Chief Executive of the Home. Celebrity host Maggie Leung also attended to show support. Kay and Jason performed a special birthday song, creating a lively atmosphere and calling for public attention to children's rights, fostering a child-friendly community, and building a brighter future for children!
